John Lang is deeply interested in food as a site for sociological exploration.
John Lang received his Ph.D. in in 2007. He also holds master’s and bachelor's degrees in Sociology from Rutgers University. Prior to joining the Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty in 2008, John was a visiting assistant professor of .
Currently an Associate Professor of Sociology at Â鶹ÊÓƵ in Los Angeles, California, John is deeply interested in food as a site for sociological exploration. His research, found in highly-regarded academic journals, involves the relationship between food, risk, trust, consumers and consumption.
