Assistant Director, Center for Community Based Learning
Kelsey Sablan Martin (she/her) is a CHamoru community based learning (CBL) practitioner and administrator dedicated to cultivating educational spaces that are relational, reciprocal, and anti-colonial. Kelsey's CBL practice includes faculty capacity building, community based research development and implementation, as well as K-12 teacher training. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Gabrielino/Tongva territory) and her master’s in Educational Studies from the University of British Columbia (Musqueam territory). After six years of working in the field of community based education, Kelsey recently returned to her alma mater as the Assistant Director of the Center for Community Based Learning at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
