Mission Statement
KOXY Radio is Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s one and only student-run radio station. Besides being the hub for student radio shows, KOXY is the premier presenter of live music on campus, platforming professional touring musicians of all genres and creating a space for Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s own artists to shine. At KOXY, we take pride in engaging with the Occidental community through our services: providing sound supports, artist showcases, ticket giveaways, and music on campus for all to enjoy.
Services We Provide:
- Student Radio Shows: Host your own radio show or podcast, or practice on the CDJs in KOXY’s DJ Booth. Listen to what’s live on air at !
- On Campus Concerts: Enjoy free concerts all year round, from acoustic open mics to electronic party nights. KOXY presents music for everyone, featuring Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s own student artists alongside professional musicians like Crumb, Rebecca Black, The Hellp, and more.
Platforming Student Artists: Take the stage with KOXY and share your latest musical projects with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ crowd. Want to perform? Join the roster by filling out the .
- Band Practice Room: Start a band or just jam out in KOXY’s Practice Room, fully stocked with amps, mics, a drum kit, and more. Established in 2023, the Practice Room is a spatial collaboration between SLICE and REHS to support the vibrant music community at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. You can book a time slot on .
- Sound Supports: Looking for music or audio support? KOXY is happy to collaborate with student orgs, clubs, or anyone who wants music at their next event. Fill out the to make a request.
